More Prayers Needed for Sebastian II

Sebastian had major surgery for a cancerous adrenal back in July and all signs of it were removed at that time. However, the cancer has returned and now he has a golf-ball sized tumor in his abdomen's upper right quandrant. His liver is also involved, but his remaining kidney is still okay. X-rays show that the tumor is large enough to push his entire intestines aside and it is very painful when palpated. He will be undergoing exploratory surgery tomorrow morning. If Dr. S. finds the situation untreatable, we will do what we need to do. Sebastian is such a lovable little comic and we are really not ready to let him go. We've enjoyed him for a little over a year now, and it seems all too short of a time.

Please send prayers for a positive outcome for this adorable little cuddler.

Unfortunately, our beloved Sebastian is gone. His tumor had metastasized and involved his entire digestive tract and too many major organs to be removed. My heart is breaking. He was the most beautiful ferret I had ever encountered - a truly unique little boy. I will miss him every day until forever.

awww I'm so sorry to here that . I'm sure he is in a better place now tho even if we didn't want them to go . i lost me slinky a few months back he was my first have him for 5 1/2 yrs i miss him ever min of the day , and i know they are up there playing and dooking together , my heart is braking here too , take care

I am sorry to hear about your Sebastian II. My heart weeps with you. I love ferrets, but letting go is not a joy.

I[m so sorry that there wasn't anything to be done for Sebastian. Even when we lose one of our babies under these horrible circumstances it's still so hard to let go!!!! Healing prayers are going out to you and your family. Soon you will have a special place in your heart for Sebastion that will be filled only with good memories, love and the time you shared. I'm sure that Sebastian has met many new friends and has picked out a beautiful set of wings for himself. He'll be watching you from the twinkling stars in the night sky. Dance on Sebastian!!

There is another sweet soul now at the Bridge with Sebastian II. We lost a sweet little lady named Gretchen yesterday. She was 9 years old and lost her battle with cancer Saturday. Our hearts are breaking again.

I bet Sebastian was waiting for his old lady. Wow, she was with you a long time, what wonderous memories you will have to cherish. Hearts are breaking I am sure, it's never easy. If only all our babies would live that long
