Here it is 12:30 a.m. and Ozzie hasn't come to me to be tucked in yet. My boy stood by in the hallway just after I cleaned the ferret cage (about 7 p.m.), but I haven't seen him since. He must be so used to roaming free all night as he did at my daughter's that the Oz Man decided to skip the cage tonight. Little Jeremiah turned up right after I lay down on the couch and let my hand dangle over the side so if one of my boys showed up they could get my attention by brushing against my hand. I lifted little Jere into my arms, gave him a nite nite treat and carried him into our room to tuck him in for the night. No doubt Ozzie will be sho9wing up before the night is over and he has fresh water and plenty of food outside the cage, but not coming to mommy for a tuck in? This is a first. LOL Maybe I'll find Oz in the small carrier in the morning. Mommy GG

Ozzie probably just fell asleep in a new spot. Usually by the time I go to bed, all of mine are already in their drawer or hammock asleep. BUt every once in a while I will close the bedroom door and before I even get under the covers there is a knock at the door and I have closed someone out and they want in. It's usually April I'm glad she knocks instead of staying out in the living room all night long

My Big Boy found his way into the bedroom in the wee hours of the night, right after I'd finished praying for God to bring him to me. I had left an N-bone at my kids' feeding station and it was gone. So Oz Man must have been in the room with me for a while before I heard him bump something and knew he was there. Mommy got up and tucked her boy in for the night, then rolled over in bed and fell asleep. LOL Can't really rest at night unless I know my kids are safe and sound. We had forecasts for storms last night, but they didn't materialize. Mommy GG
