Well I just saw the others entries and some are really breathtaking mainly when it comes from landscape photography... Anyway my landscape of love is Nahum The contest is : " Natures Natural Textures Contest!" I have asked if home pet were allowed and it was ok if the photo is showing textures ;D Here is my entry For those who miss my lovely Petit Ours And something NEW : Human + ferret : My daughter Penelope & Nahum I have some more, but it is not yet ready Now Babies update : Nahum got his Deslorelin implant on June 8, 2009 All was ok since yesterday Evening, he suddenly started to loose his hair A lot of shedding so 6 weeks after the implant. His belly is still big, you can see it on last pic. So to jump every things on everywhere for escape is old stories now My Petit Ours got his Deslorelin implant on June 22, 2009. He has started to shed the last Monday so 3 week after the implant. Dr who gave the implants said it can be something normal that the fur change because "" we are playing with the hormones"" So I will wait, to see if things stabilize... If no, and if it seems the adrenal is coming back worse, I will go for the lupron again. But with all my heart I hope it is just something normal and all will be ok. To see my babies suffer and stressed by the Lupron injections is something I don't want again. Update of the photos :*For those interested the third photo, titled .013. is available as prints, poster, cards in different sizes through Deviant Art and through Redbubble. I know the quality of Deviant Art and it is high standing. I never seen the prints of Redbubble, but I never heard bad comments. www.deviantart.com/print/7320204/www.redbubble.com/people/marie-agnes/art/3475748-2-013* Rhinarium is also available as prints : www.deviantart.com/print/7254108/

I love the photograph you've selected as the entry for your photo contest, Marie-Agnes. It is perfect ... texture is everywhere! I also especially love the picture of you and your baby in Human + Ferret. Your work is astonishingly beautiful.
Nahum and Petit Ours are both in my prayers as are you, gf. I too, pray and hope that this new shedding of your boys' coats is just something normal. Loving hugs, Greta

What a wonderful entry into that contest. Such soft textures but then look at his nose, something totally different.
Now let me guess....is that your daughter? If not, whoever it is makes a gorgeous model for one exceptional photo

The composition of the third photo is just fantastic! It's excellent how you let the eye drift downward then over to the white of the ferret. I'm certain if this was made into a poster type medium, it would sell very well. And the first photo would be a great screensaver! Even for a calendar, the photos would be great to use.

OMG the pictures are so good! I love your entry of the first picture. The little white hair coming out from his nose looks like it's 3 D, like it's coming right out of the screen. And I love the patterns within the colors of his nose. If you don't win something for all the different textures in his sweet little face and body, I would be surprised.

Marie-Agnes, I visited the site where you have your selection of ferret prints. I am overwhelmed! In September I'll be very "The Garden" and "Et Toile de Lune" You're certainly giving Jeanne Carley a run for her money! These are some of the best ferret photos I have ever come across. Tres Bon!

Oops! I'm sorry I confused your daughter Penelope, with you in your most excellent photograph, Girlfirend. But the way Penelope looks in that pic is just the way I picture you when I think of you. That picture is amazing and I so hope it appears on your calendar for 2010. Can you imagine that it's been 10 years almost since this new century began? Omg! I am rooting for you to win First Prize with your outstanding photograph, Marie-Agnes. Loving hugs, Greta

Don't be sorry dear Greta for the confusion ;D Sheila, Penelope is 17years old and half. The photo is a scenery where all is planed. It is a concept, even the jewels were carefully chosen. So it was not a photo of my daughter, it was a photo of a Lady in Gothic/Victorian style who take a break and look at a peaceful little creature. Modeling is like to play a role : Below Penelope is incarnating a Japanese guy : Riku (manga )character. It doesn't matter if one don't even recognize who is the model. It is the result which matter Thank you for you very nice comment and compliment
