Yesterday I phoned the GCFA shelter to ask how Garfield is doing. It won't hurt to show a special interest in this wonderful boy I've chosen to be Ozzie's companion. Since no one answered the phone, I figured the staff was busy tending to the chores associated with shelter life. In the evening the phone rang and guess what!? It was the shelter with a follow up call wanting to know the nature of my call. Wow! I certainly didn't expect these very busy people to take time out of their schedules for just a follow up call.
