My husband has been gone for about 4 nights now. He's up visiting relatives and I'll be going up on Sunday for a couple of days.
The last three nights when I went to bed, which is about 1:30 in the am because I don't get home from work until 11PM.....I was in bed all curled up and then these little footsteps were felt on the covers.
Up up they came , up to my pillow. A little sniff at my hair, and then a little nose wiggle on my cheek...the slowly the walk to the end of the bed, down the ramp and back to bed.
Yes it was Mac. I guess he wanted to make sure I was safe and sound in bed and then he could go calmly back to sleep knowing all was well.
He's been so so cute

That sounds like such an "Awwwww..." moment. So sweet that he needs to be sure that you're okay before he can settle down for the night.
Hugs,

They are such independant creatures,, That it is always a pleasant surprise when they show care and concern for us.. Or even just their way of saying,, Hey I missed you, glad you are home..lol Sounds like Mac's job is to make sure everyone is all together and safe and sound..
What a sweety,,

Yeah, some of mine do that too. But after the hair sniffing and the gentle nose wiggle all the hot place breaks out and they start war dancing and playing all over the top of us while we try to sleep. But we wouldn't have it any other way!!

Hehehe, Heidi. Mac loves his mommy and wants to make sure she's all tucked in before he calls iit a night. Nada, Cinco and TT used to do that too, but then they each had a body part to pester. Nada would nip my ankles and feet while Cinco tugged at my hair and TT? ... he just walked back and forth over mommy's 'trying to relax' sleepy body. LOL hugs, Greta

[glow=red,2,300][/glow]lol Heidi, you are so lucky that is all he does. That deaf gril of mine Cennamon she will clime in bed get under the covers ( on my side) and she goes for the back of my knee and prceids to chop down on my skin like I am a midnight or early morning snack. No matter what I do she will find a peace of my skin that don't have powder sent on my legs, she will bit me. Not a love bit but a I am hungery and I am going to eat your leg up. She don't do it to Ron she does what Mac did to you. This ferrets really hates me and I have no reson why. I play with her I love her up and give her treats. I have tryed everything that everyone told me to try. I told Ron she may go in the cage at night, just so I can get a goodnight sleep. Give your kids a hugs and kisses for me. love and God bless,Sheila

Sheila, if it were Bonita or April, I would not be lying still because they are chompers also. I have to wrap my legs in the blanket so they can't get them LOL

When one or more of these little guys get to working under the covers, I swear they know what they're doing. Consistantly "testing the waters" or perhaps the tolerance of the one with whom they want attention from. I had a little gal, Aphrodite, sweet and very petite. I don't know how she did it, but she would get on the bed from underneath the covers and move herself inside the corner of the duvet cover. I always had to be careful and check the inside of the cover and sheets for an unidentifyable "lump". And of course my albino boy Maestro...... he got under the covers and snacked on any fleshy thing. Without being graphic, (I'm certain you can figure this out), he snacked upon something that made me almost hit the ceiling. Holy Mard! He was truly my beloved blanco diablo.
