Ozzie and mom are in Chicago now enjoying another mini vacation with my daughter. Oz is adjusting quite well ... until tonight, that is. Since Chicago is an hour behind Michigan in their time zone, I had lost track of the hour. Ozzie came to me for his night time treat which I gave him, and then I noticed him doing the flat ferret on the floor near his pile of bedding. Thinking Ozzie was sad because he was away from home and was without his little sister Itty, I began to talk softly to him. It was then I realized Ozzie was sound asleep. He has no cage set up here as yet and I realized it was past his bedtime. These little ones of ours are just as much creatures of habit as are we humans. LOL :-) Mommy GG

Ozzie is fine and dandy this morning. My boy ended up spending the night in his carrier and Mommy needs to give it a good cleaning today. There wasn't time for me to clean the carrier before Marcia arrived at my home to pick me up and it reeks of musk from the two trips we took to the vets with both Itty and Ozzie. A change to clean bedding and a good spray with a pet deodorant will freshen up my boy's sleeping quarters. Mommy GG

It appears Ozzie was just confused since he's so used to sleeping in his cage at night. Mommy cleaned and deodorized Ozzie's carrier (a very large dog carrier), and changed all the bedding inside it. It tickled my funny bone yesterday afternoon when I realized Ozzie had been trying to clean his own 'house.' hehehe My boy had dragged out a soiled puppy pad that I think Itty had left her calling card on. Ozzie is happy now, but mommy has to remember to be sure and give Oz Man his nite nite treat and lots of "Goodnight, Ozzie. I love you's." before tucking my little one in for the night. LOL What a spoiled little boy I have! My daughter has a cage here for Oz, but she hasn't had time yet to set it up down here for him yet. Mommy GG
