My son and I drove to the crematorium today in a nearby city, where IttyBitty's ashes were waiting for us and at last we were able to bring my baby girl home again. Itty will join her brothers and sister in the China cabinet, where her remains will be displayed in memory of this precious little Munchkin who brought me so much happiness. Mommy GG

I'm so happy to hear Itty is home now. It does make you feel better knowing they are right there with you and you can touch the box, it's comforting.

Thank you, folks. The crematorium did a nice job with my baby's ashes. They are held in an attractive plastic box which is sealed. Itty's name and the date of her cremation and lots of other information is attached to her box. I miss you Baby, but as greensky says, it's nice to be able to reach out and touch you. Mommy GG

Glad she's back home with you. I visit mine in their graveyard in my flower garden. It's near the swing where I take a break when I'm working there pulling weeds, etc.

I'm so happy to hear that Itty is back home with her mommy where she belongs. I have had all of my babies creamated. It is all handled by my vet with a very reputable company. But I still worry until my babies are back home with me. I make a memory box for each of my kids with their picture on the top and always put something special, like and angel or a note I have written especially for them, in their box with them.

I certainly know that feeling Greta. It's rather a shock at first to actually see and realize our little ones are in a different state. But there is a certain amount of peace and closure when we have them back. No more worry for us and no more pain or lack of quality of life for them. I've always found it a priviledge to have these little ones in our lives as well a priviledge to be the guardian of their cremains afterwards.

Joyce, how beautiful that is.
Greta, you have all my hugs and my heart goes out to you. Bless your heart, and Itty's.
