the new girls!

i went & got the 2 girls i had mentioned a week ago wednesday. they are healthy & active,no lumps,bumps, injuries or other problems except for a bad case of fleas. they are tattood so not from a breeder like i was told,she also told me they were"fighting ferrets,from a breeder like fighting dogs come from". i didnt believe her & i dont know what she was thinking but they are very nice girls.theyd been eating friskies,never seen a litter pan & didnt have names. whatever questions id ask she either didnt have an answer for or would give me a different answer if the opportunity arose. now theyre eating good food & are finally using litter pans(some anyway).they don have names yet,ive been waiting to see them settle in & see their personalities first.
it took me a while to get these pictures cause these girls have been busy! mostly what i got was very blurry cause they cant hold still!

the dark one does have a babyish face on her & shes all fat & squishy! i checked their teeth & they look older than my Samantha & Hoggles-who are both 1 1/2 years old. so i think the new girls are probly 1 1/2-2 1/2, but hard to tell. anyway theyre lively! i have let the others around them th past day & they all get along but Samantha who thinks she should take them apart.she gags at the taste of bitter apple on them but still goes after em. going to take some time which i knew. im surprised that my old lady Flower didnt care about them,shes always been mean to new ones.
they LOVE Hoggle though!!! probly cause hes abig manly guy!! he poofed this morning & everybody came running to smell & then followed him around admiring him i think. hes an extra special little man,he reminds me of my Elmo a lot now.
by the way if anyone has anysuggestions on names for the girls let me know,cant guarantee ill use them but would appreciate thoughts!

I had a shock there for a moment. In picture number 5 of the little one in the tub reminded me very much of my first ferret Attila, a sable silver mitt. that was back in 1998. Oh, he was a devil! lol

im still thinking on names for the light colored girl,maybe Tilly or Dotty. im trying to think of different names for them, something most people dont name critters. i think the dark girl will be Beatrice,my brothers idea,but i think it suits her!

I don't know why I didn't post this before, but dang! It's a darn good thing you got those gals out of there. "Fighting ferrets" Where do these idiots get their information from?? Also, thank the good Lord you knew what questions to ask in order to "ferret" out the inconsistantcies of her replies. If ignorance is bliss, this woman has paved herself a super highway! kudos to you for saving these two gals. The silver gal I'd name Pizzazz. Best wishes to you all.
