Lately Ozzie has begun following mommy around the house like a little puppy dog and I know it's because since Itty left us, my boy needs lots more attention from me. I've been hard put finding new ways to entertain Ozzie to hold his interest and prevent him from being too lonely. Today when I cleaned my boy's cage, I moved his food and water next to his sleeping area so Oz will be more apt to eat during the night. When I put my little guy to bed this evening, he showed lots of interest in the changes mommy had made. I'm thinking that if I move things to different places around the house, it may perk Ozzie up. Tomorrow is cleaning day and I might just decide to rearrange the furniture. LOL Mommy GG

Ozzie is so cute. But it is so very good that he follows you in the house and still has interests in new things. It is normal that now he want to be more close to his mommy. Hug and kisses to your sweet little Big boy

Ozzie may be trying to be close to you to comfort you as well. I don't really know if ferrets do it but I know my dogs have done so in the past when we have lost a furry family member. I find the fuzzies are much more energetic and animated if I cahnge things around in their cages and play room. All but Fred. Much as I try to keep his litter box in the corner he always moves it to the middle of the cage! If I pick up all of the hundereds of toys, the kids will immeadiatly get to work at hiding them all under the bed again. Thing is once they are under the bed , they want nothing to do with them. LOL!

Well, Ozzie's N-bone treats were just delivered by UPS a few minutes ago. This should help, too. Last night my boy really WAS fascinated by his new cage arrangement. So muchy so that Ozzie decided to help too, by shoving his puppy training pad toward the middle of the cage floor. Oh, what fun when mommy discovered she had to get down on her hands and knees to wipe up the globs of gifts my boy had left in his favorite corner. LOL Ozzie's 'house' is all clean again and sweet smelling once more. Cannot have his food, water and cuddle cup directly across from his dirty toilet. LOL Mommy GG
