Slinky is doing much better with the pred. She went to the vet today and she is now up to 2 lbs, getting closer to her original weight. She still looks really skinny though. She is playing a little more but still having some crashes. The vet raised her pred level since she is gaining weight. She is having an adventure this week all to her own. My husband and I are going out of town and my little brother's schedule does not coinside with her medicine times so she gets to go stay with my mother in law. We dropped her off today and she got to go exploring. She seemed excited, for her anyway. I'm just worried she and her sister are going to miss each other. At least her sister has the other two to keep her company.

Thank you for the update about Slinky. I am really glad that your little girl is doing better. A new friendly and lovely place to explore will help her to not miss too much you and her sister until you will be back. I am glad that you find somebody able to give her medicine at the right hour  |

It's always difficult to find someone to properly take care of our babies especially when they need their medicine. Glad you were able to find someone to take care of Slinky.

Slinky should be fine at your m-i-l's, especially if you and your husband won't be gone for a long time, gf. It's always so nice and such a relief to knowyour baby is being taken such good care of when you find it necessary to leave her. Congrats Slinky on your weight gain! Hugs, Greta
