Itty has her angel wings

I'm going to miss my baby and I know Ozzie is going to miss Itty, too. I found her lifeless little body in her Auntie Robin hanging tube this morning when I reached in to lift Itty out so I could carry her to the treatment table. God has reached down with His loving hands and lifted Itty's sweet little spirit from her body. This is a new experience for me. I have never had a beloved ferret pass at home before. I am so sorry that our sweet Itty Bitty has made her journey to the Bridge. You gave her the best care possible, and in your home she knew only love.

Thank you for your loving support, Friends. I can't express how very much this means to me. My daughter Nancy, who lives and works in Chicago, called me today and found a nearby crematorium onlinewhere we can take my baby's body for a private cremation for only $50. We'll be leaving in about an hour ... my son and I.

I miss you something fierce, Baby. But I'll carry on. You've left behind many sweet memories that I will cherish all my life. And I will take very good loving care of your precious big brother, Ozzie. Mommy GG

I am so sorry that Itty had to leave you. But I'm sure she was called to the Bridge for a special reason. And who are we to try and guess what that reason is? Only He knows. I was so happy to hear that Itty was doing so much better and now to hear that she is gone breaks my heart. She is now playing in the meadow and flying amongst the clouds with her beautiful new wings. And she will watching you from the night sky as she dances on the stars. Healing thoughts and prayers are being sent your way. Itty knows that you will always have a special place in your heart for her just as you do for your other kids that have gone on before. Itty is now with them and with so many new friends at the Rainbow Bridge but will never forget you and all that you did for her. Dance on Itty!!!

Oh Greta, I read your post with tears in my eyes. Many of us here have grown to love Itty through your posts. I am so very sorry to hear that your dear Itty is no longer with you in body. Her spirit will live forever in your heart. The story's about Itty will live in the memories of the members of ferret. You provided her with the best care and the most love anyone could give. Our sweet little baby girl. I am so saddened by her passing, but can only be greatful that when I brought this tiny little girl home from the pet shop as a baby, to bring her to health, that a truely loving woman, I knew and trusted, decided that Itty should never go back to that pet shop. Instead she opened her heart, and took in this tiny girlie ferret, who once back to health, knew nothing but, fun, loving, and a full belly. Because of this wonderful woman she had the full life every ferret should have.
Greta, you know how this is affecting me also. I am glad Itty passed at home, where she loved to be.
I am sorry for the loss you are feeling, but you can be so greatful that it was you she got to share that life with.

Oh Greta my friend, I have been MIA here for at least a week and missed all of this. Reanne just posted in the Hollow. I have lit a candle to light her way to the bridge. She was just the sweetest little girlie I will never forget meeting you and your kids at Reanee's.

I am so sorry that God took her home, but she did go peacefully at home in her sleep. Something to be very greatful for.

She has never known anything but love since she left that pet shop so long ago.

OOOH GRETA.....This is a real surprise since she did so well yesterday but it also means that she didn't linger and suffer. You did everything a ferrent could possibly do for an ailing fur kid. Most of all she had your undying love and devotion. HE was kind and took her spirit quietly in her sleep & while you slept at home where all she knew was love and kindness. I got to a quiet point at work and thought I would check to see how Itty was doing today.
To say the least I am in a state of shock. I am so sorry Greta. She was loved to the fullest and she was so lucky to have had your as her mommy. I know you wanted more time with her, but I too am glad that she did not suffer.

I'm sorry that Itty has passed but she is now dancing and flying high with her angel wings. I will miss her stories but am glad that she was able to pass peacefully in her sleep. I will be keeping you and Ozzie in my thoughts.

Oh Greta I'm so sorry to hear about Itty. She is in a special place now with no pain, looking down on you with love.
I've had 4 of my ferrets cremated so they were always with me, and when I pass, they will be scattered with me. The cremation here is $160, but it's nice to be able to look at their boxes and be able to touch something knowing they are in there.
