While I know that us humans sometimes take 1 steps forward and 3 back,......Lily has taken it opposite. She has taken 1 step back and 3 forward! Since yesterday she has been pooping more normal than she ever has before! No more runs! She is now eating on her own several times a day and asking to be let out of the cage. I had her out with Baby (who now has a name) aka Rosie, last night and she was for the first time acting exactly like a ferret! This morning at play time she discovered the rice box and the tunnels and ran after Rosie nudging her and gently playing. I moved Rosie back in with her after the play time and they immediatly climbed into the hammock and snuggled together for thier nap. I am going to take Fred out of his big huge cage and put him in the smaller one since he is not as active and alone. Then I am covering the ramps with fabric and moving Lily and Rosie into the bigger cage, so they can have room for toys and play. As for myself I think I just had sniffles from the air conditioner having just been put in. I get them every year when we first turn it on. To be sure yesterday I took cold meds and rested all day. Now I am back 100%. All of the other fuzzies are doing great. I took some pics this am of Lily and Rosie but then my cammera battery dies so as soon as it charges I will post them. Have a great day everyone! I am so glad to be back! Shadoe

Yipee, Girlfriend! It's so good to hear of Lily's fast recovery. Lily and Baby Rosie will have a blast sharing Fred's big cage once you get those ramps covered with fabric. As for your sniffles, I go through that every spring when the a/c is turned on and every late fall when the furnace is back in operation. I'm pretty sure it's a slight allergy to the dust in the filters. LOL Warm cuddles to all your precious babies. Loving hugs, Greta

I have never seen two ferrets take to each other like these two. Rosie seems to kow when Lily needs her space and Lily loves to snuggle with Rosie. Rosie is forever kissing on Lily! LOL! Its priceless!
