Reggae crashed Thursday night. He didn't want to eat, so I had to force feed him about half his soup. Friday morning he wouldn't eat at all, and had blood in his poop. He deteriorated very rapidly thru the day. Within an hour he went from biting my friends pit bull on the nose to not even picking his head up. The vet said he was in liver failure, and was also bleeding somewhere internally. So I made the decission to just let him go. I miss him so much.  |

Oh, Spacy! My heart sank when I read your subject line. You did the right thing in letting your boy go, gf. I feel your pain. Nada, Cinco and TT were all there at the Bridge waiting for Reggae with open paws. They're showing him all the most fun places to play and eat now that they're all together. I am so very sorry. You gave your boy the greatest act of love you could . . . by letting him go. I know that your heart is broken right now but before long your tears of pain and loss will turn to tears of joy as you remember your boy and the antics he once did. Dance on Reggae!! You will live on at the Rainbow Bridge and once the rest of your family is there you will all cross the Bridge into Heaven . . . where you will be together forever.

Oh sweet heart I am so so very sorry that Reggae didn't get better  You have done all what possible for to help your little boy. You are a wonderful mommy and Reggae loves you. I'm so sorry for your loss. That one last gift of love is always difficult, but you set Reggae free from his pain. Remember the happy times you had with him, and the hole in your heart will soon be mended. We are all with you in spirit and our hearts go out to you.

Spacy I am so very sorry. And I cry with you and for you my dear. What you did was certainly a last gift of love for your beloved Raggae. It is always a hard decision to make. But you have shown how much you love him by doing so.
