:-/Evidently once Toby's left adrenal gland was removed the right one has turned into a monster!! We've found him several times "mounted" on Elvis Fuzz with his mouth firmly locked onto Elvis' ear. We've had to put water on Toby's face to get him to let go. Looks like Lupron is in order for Toby!!
When Bethany went to the vet last week she was started on Pred for insulinoma. I've had several ferts with this problem and after just a few days there is a marked improvement in their attitude and energy level. All Bethany still does is eat and sleep. So she's going with us tomorrow for bloodwork and probably some x-rays.
Now on to poor Elvis Fuzz. He's finally recovered from the spleenectomy and is back to his old dancin' and dookin' self. Unfortunately one of the mast cell tumors on his neck has gotten bigger while the other one has gone away. And the lump on his belly is bigger too. Called Dr. V this AM and she says she doesn't want to wait until Tuesday -- Tuesday and Thursday are her regualar surgery days -- so Elvis is going in tomorrow morning and will probably be having more surgery. And since he gets a prolapsed rectum every time he poops she will probably do a purse string on him. It always goes back in within a few minutes after pooping but it is bound to be painful and the way he scoots on the floor when it pops out I'm afraid that he'll injure himself or pick up an infection.
So please keep all three of the WW's in your prayers tonight. I will post tomorrow as soon as I get home and update you on all three.
