I have totally fallen in love with ferrets! As I think we all have! What I would like to know is if there is a breeder here in Michigan. I don't mind that Woozle came pre dis-gendered, and de-scented, but I would like to have a ferret that isn't a Marshalls. And I like to support small businesses when I can, Marshalls is country wide. Does anyone know?

Hi MS, I'm from Michigan, too. The southwest corner near the Indiana state line. And I've been on the lookout for a rather large male ferret (neutered and de-scented) about 2 years old for my Ozzie to play with. I don't know offhand about breeders in Michigan, but I'll run a searh on this and come back to you here with the information I find. Hugs, Greta

I'm back. I found a Mischief Maker Ferrets breeder in Michigan, but their last update was in 2006 when they had no adult ferrets for sale. This breeder does not spay, neuter or descent the ferrets sold. I'll keep looking and be back later. Hugs, Greta

I don't know how far you want to travel, but there are a few breeders in Ohio. Scarlet's Happy Dookers and I think one called 4 paws wrecking crew?

I've met Scarlett and several of her ferrets at ferret gatherings, and vowed that if I ever would get another kit that it would be well worth the trip to Ohio. Her ferrets are adorable. She breeds for temperament as well as beauty, so do definitely get in touch with Scarlett if you are looking for a new kit. Hugs from Phoenix! JulieAnn

I'll have to keep these in mind, thanks everyone! Ohio isn't far, especially for a ferret!
