Belief in the Bridge
~Dedicated to all Ferret Angels~
Did you have a fuzzy friend
dance their way into your life again?
Their crazy antics taking away
the stress and care of every day
Fuzzy thieves they will always be
for they steal a part of our heart you see
Unconditional love your heart does reap
then the sad day comes of eternal sleep
When you lie them down to rest
your faith and heart are put to a test
Will you meet them once again
can you believe this is not really the end?
Your tears will fall and you'll wish them here
open your heart and you'll feel their spirits near
Go and gaze up at the stars
you'll see your angels are not too far
Their spirits shine so very bright
sparkling with energy throughout the night
And when the storms bring wind and rain
it reminds us they are not in pain
They dance and dook and carefree live
at the place we call The Rainbow Bridge
The rainbow's colors promise they are close
and remind us to never lose our hope
But to open our eyes and see the signs
that their fuzzy spirits remain alive
Light a candle and let it glow
your love to them it will surely show
The ferrets are wiser than you and me
they know our parting is only temporary
Never give up faith in the day that will come
when you'll dance again together under a different Sun.
