Reggae seems to be doing ok since he was started on the enzyme therapy. He is eating like a little piggy. The only thing is his soup has to sit for 15 to 20 min after I mix it up so the enzyme can start digesting it......and he is not happy about the wait LOL I had to modify his soup recipe and cut back on the baby food in it.....too much fat in it. So now his soup is ground up kibble disolved in hot water with a tiny bit of baby food in it for flavor. Luckily he likes it! The medicine he's on is called Viokase V. Here is a link to some info about it.... www.drsfostersmith.com/Rx_Info_Sheets/rx_pancreatic_enzymes.pdf

Thank you for the update. I am glad that Reggae likes his new diet Now I hope the new medicine will be very effective as soon as possible. That seems a very helpful treatment. Big hugs and kisses to your little boy

Thank you for the update, Spacy! It's a great relief to know that Reggie is improving with his new treatment and that he still thinks his soup is one special treat. hehehe I eliminated the cream from Oz and Itty's soup a couple of days ago and they still lapped it up until only the bottom of the bowl showed. Keeping you and Reggie in my prayers, gf. I just hope treatment is as successful and Reggae's recovery as complete as the Golden Retriever I posted to you about earlier. Loving hugs, Greta
