What a great afternoon!

It's always fun meeting internet friends, but what is even better is a yearly visit with them.

This is the third year in a row that I have been so happy to spend time with Kyle and Carrie and little Joey, who seems to be growing before my eyes. What a lovely young man he is! Along with them came Bella their 6 month old long-legged chichua and their ferret Jasper. Such fun to see their interaction.

And Dee, our second meeting. The queen of deserts WOW, talk about a million calories in one serving. So glad that you were able to come, I really enjoy seeing and talking to you.

And...the first meeting with Julie and Arlo. I sure hope it will be an annual thing. Was a pleasure to meet you both.

Lily could not make it this time, But I did see her for dinner the first night I got in.

We are (Suzie and I) hoping that each year maybe we can add at least one more ferret person in the area. Maybe Loveaferret will have moved to Arizona by next year and she will be the new addition.

Thank you all for coming. I hope you had as nice a time as I did.

Jazper has grown up to be a wonderful, cuddly boy. He was such a tiny baby when we got him, and Kyle, Carrie & Joey are the perfect family for him. It's always nice when an adoption turns out so well.

Suzie - Thanks for opening your home to us and providing such a wonderful meal for us all. We felt right at home and so welcome the instant we stepped in the door.

Dee - I've written down the recipe for the delicious cheesecake that you brought and cannot wait to delight my neighborhood friends with it. Yum! Arlo and I delighted in meeting you. It's great to finally put a face to the names of the people we've "met" online!

Yes, let's make this an annual event! ;D

Hey, Heidi1 It's great to know you're enjoying yourself. You deserve a great vacation with lots of lovely ferret people surrounding you. What fun it must be. I met Julie Ann and Arlo on April 26, 2003, when they had travelled from Minnesota to Reanee's (pocketfullofposies) home to pick up a pair of fuzzies. Reanee, Kathy, Julie and Arlo all made the 70 miles trip to my house for a visit. They are the greatest! One of their newbies turned on TT and Cinco for following her too closely (sniffing her butt, hehehe) when she was exploring their cage. It was so cute ... a lady defending her dignity from those nasty little boys of mine. hehehe We had a barrel of fun. Keep up the happy events, gf. I love hearing about your fun travels. It was so great seeing you Thursday night. Glad we found one another quickly at the airport and that you enjoyed the restaurant and saw where I'm working now! I loved seeing you, you look great and it's always a joy to have our yearly visit. I'm glad you told me about my blood type and mosquitos too!!!! Now I know!!! LOL Hugs Heidi.

Suzie was lovely to see you and the ferrets too! They are all so adorable and I could play with miss itsy bitsy for hours she is a spitfire! Huronna do you still have your sneakers? LOL.

I'm so sorry I missed out on joining you all today though. With me leaving for England Friday it is my last weekend to start preparing. I got a lot done today, lots more to do yet.

Next year I'm sure it will time out better for me to be there again as usual, this year I missed being there, thought about you all day!!!!

Suzie, your house is always so warm and lovely too, just wanted to add that.

Each year with Huronna's visits, on the day she has to leave and go on her merry way I start looking forward to her visit the next year. It is my yearly big event lol. And this year was no exception.

It was so wonderful that Kyle, Carrie, Joey and Dee were again able to join us. And to top it off we were able to meet Arlo and Julie. I was so happy that you were able to join us this year. Such a delightful and rewarding day. Lots of time to get acquainted, have a lot of ferret talk and enjoy each others company.

And Jasper was such a cutie. He immediately made himself at home and checked out my fuzz butts. He beautiful coat and tempterment showed that he is a very much loved fuzzie. And dear little Bella. When all the investigating was done and checking eveything out she went to her carrier and went sleep for most of the day.


We missed you dearly Lily. Next year will be another chance to get together will all of these wonderful friends, old and new and I am looking forward to hopefully meeting more new friends in each ensuing year. It is such fun to get together with so many people that you have something in common with.

Heidi, thanks for the great ferret talk. I want to thank Suzie for her hospitality. I have been looking forward to this visit since last year. It was so nice seeing you, Suzie, Kyle, Carrie, and Joey again. Julie and Arlo are so nice. I am happy I got to meet them also. I am sorry Lilly was not able to join us. I hope to see everyone next year.
