News about Nahum and Bear It was their monthly appointment today for their Lupron shot. Both have the 500mcg dosage. Bear seems to have some fur growing in her back, not that much, but there are 2 new rounds spots of fur. He has always his arrhythmia... Now Nahum : Since Wednesday night Nahum is sneezing a lot, has water in his eyes, don't feel good, don't want to play. He is lethargic and he is just sleeping. So this morning Dr give to him subcutaneous fluids for rehydrate him. But it seems his case is not sever so for now he doesn't need antibiotic or other medicine. But if things are not going better, it will be a trip to the vet. I am very worried. And I found his belly huge, but his Dr don't think his belly has a lot of grown. Perhaps I am just over stressed. That makes now 6 hours and half we are back home, and Nahum is still sleeping. I gave to him his very watered soupy with the melatonin. I need to hold him, if I want him to eat. And I think that I have heard Bear sneezed 2 times... Since 6 years never my ferrets got a Cold. And I am not sick... I wonder what is happening ? Other News : Denise, the Office Manager of the Animal Hospital asked to me for the use of this photography for making remind cards for ferrets patients That was only the thing positive on my visit. She asked for this one, because she knows it from the calendar... Will keep you updated about my sweet heartS

What a long day you have had..And it sounds like a long nite ahead.. Sure hope Nahum and Bear feel better real quick.. You are doing the right thing keeping them hydrated.. Keep getting them to eat their soup..If anything will get their strength up that will..
You and Nahum and Bear are in my thoughts and prayers..
Sure hope things are much better in the morning..

[glow=red,2,300][/glow]Oh Yukka, I am so sorry to hear that your babies are sick. I will keep them and you in my prayers. I know it can be very stressfull. I have to find someway to get the money to take Dolly in she is begainging to lose fur on her butt. I know they will not let her see the vet till I have money. Our vet is cost alot here in Ill. He is the only ferret vet in Champaign, co. I am glad that you can take them in. I am sorry that you have to drive so far to see yours. I hope maybe they will get a good ferret vet in your town. We need more vets that are in too ferrets in stead of dogs and cats. That all they seem to care about here. Keep me updated on them ok . Bigs hugs to you and lots of kiss for the fur kids. Love and God bless. Sheila

The picture yuou've posted is the same photograph that's on my calendar from you for the month I have it set on, Yukka. I think it's April, though. Haven't turned the page to May yet. You're such a good mommy to your fur children, gf. Holding Nahum so he will eat is a loving thing to do for your boy. When TT was sick with insulinoma and when Nada and Cinco grew older, I always held them in my lap to feed them their soup. I wanted to make sure they ate enough to help keep them strong. My healthy ferrets were always fast eaters and would lap up the soup before my sick babies could get enough unless I held them. It is good that Bear is growing back his hair. :-) When the hair first begins to return, it is like a soft bristle brush next to the skin and grows back slowly. Bear must be responding in a good way to his treatment. Praise God! Nahum is older and it may take him longer to respond to his medicine, as the body's cells grow more slowly in advanced years. I will keep you, Nahum and Bear in my prayers, gf. God bless you all. Loving hugs, Greta

;D Nahum is better tonight, just sneezing one time ... ;D
I really hope it is nothing important. I am afraid too that will can be his another fang who starts to make problem.
;DAnd Petit Ours is full of Energy ... Yeah ;D
Yes Huronna, I plan to do another calendar with new photos of my babies for 2010. Also I will update the actual calendar by only to change the date on the cover, and will let it exactly as it is (except if there is any improvement to do on it, I am still open for critiques). So there will be 2 ferrets calendars. And if my energy is enough strong I will love to make another not fuzzy related. Oh Shadoe don't be sorry please Thank you to all for your thoughts and prayers, Nahum and Bear are able to feel all the love here
