Lilo has been found. It was her at the SPCA. She is on her way home now to be reunited with her 4 sisters and 1 brother. All they could tell us was that she was found in someone garage. I wanted to be able to smother this person with kisses but they cant tell us who it is. They will call them and let them know we claimed her. I have to be at work for 3 more hours before i can go home and hold her.  Thnak you all for your kind words and support. |

 OHhhhh I am so happy for you..You must be so relieved,,, miracles do happen.. Lilo will be so glad to sleep in her own bed tonight.. Give her lots of hugs and kisses from all of us.. |

you were in my prayers. i know how the little stinkers can get out and explore. My winnie got out through a window, she tore through a screen window (which I thought she could not reach) droppec about 10 feet to the ground and got into mischief. When it was discovered that she did this all looked for her, it took the dog to find her.... she was as happy as a clam as she was digging under the tool shed, needless to say she was covered in mud and got a bath......scolded and hugged and cuddled.... that is why all my windows are opened from the top down when the fuzzes are around.... thank goodness it was mid spring when it happened sad to say that she has long ago passed to the bridge and is now digging to her hearts content with all of her friends which are many. I am so glad that lilo is now safe and sound and happy with many cuddles...........give her a cuddle for me and tell her not to do that again........she scared her mommy so.......

YIPEEEE....that's such wonderful news....makes my heart sing and yours too. I just love happy endings. Like Laurie, I too had a ferret escape from tearing through a window screen and getting outside. My sweet Tootsie(RIP) about gave me a heart attack when I couldn't find her and then found the hole in the screen. She stayed right under that window and came to me with "her music box". I always open my windows from the top down since that time. I know you're going to smother her with hugs & kisses along with some happy tears.  |

Just wanted to update that the little princess Lilo is doing great. Doesnt seem to have suffered any ill effects from her adventure. I cant stop huggin and kissin and scolding my baby. And she looks at me like "what, i came home didnt i?" From what we were told by SPCA it was an older couple who found her. She was in their garage. They thought she was a baby racoon!! (she is dark with a black mask)When they got a closer look they figured out what she was and called animal control and then took her to SPCA. Thank god for decent and kind people. When she got home all the other ferts wouldnt leave her alone. Followed her everywhere. Silly Lilo cant figure out what the fuss is all about.
We have instilled new rules for front door usage when the fuzzies are out. An extra person must be at door to round up ferts when someone wants to leave or come in. No more relying on just one person looking around to make sure coast is clear. I dont think I could handle this again.
I want to thank all of you again for your prayers. I truly believe that had a huge hand in helping Lilo make it home.
