How can one little tiny ferret cause so much havoc?
I only have two rooms that are carpeted, and those are the gurest bedrooms. I have partitions blocking the entrance, but one of them must have slipped or April was the Olympic jumper this morning.
The three of them were all playing, making lots of noise. I had gotten a present from a friend of this real big crinkle sac. He's gotten it for his cat, but the cat wouldn't do near it. We we washed and dried it and gave it to the ferrets who loved it. All three could fit in it.
They were playing with this and running through tubes. Things got pretty quiet and then I heard some other noises. It sounded like one of them was pulling out the bottom layer of the cage. They often do that just for fun. If I ignore them, they usually stop where as if I scold them about it, they seem to do it more. So I was ignoring it.
Also April will sometimes jump over the partition that goes into our bathroom. She usually wanders around and then jumps right out. For some reason it's easier for her to jump out, maybe because there is a scatter rug right there, while jumping in there is no run and she has to jump, jump jump and makes little noises on the board.
I was busy on my other site, so I was ignoring the nosie, but finally after a while, I decided to see if she had gotten in the bathroom and couldn't get out. Nope not there, but there is that sound again.
Was she in the kitchen pantry....nope In the end table drawer...not there Where was she because I saw Mac and Bonita on the bed.
Finally I went to the other side of the house and looked into one of the spare bedrooms. And there was little miss innocent looking up at me. INNOCENT?? you have got to be kidding me!!
She had town up the corner of the wall to wall carpeting and proceeded to use a corner for her bathroom. No wonder she was making noise, I guess she wanted out after she had already done the damage.
Oh well I guess almost 9 years with out a ferret stain on a carpet is nothing to complain about. I've scrubbed and scrubbed and got most of it out, but there is still a remembrance there.
I guess Mommy should pay a little more attention with those little out of the ordinary sounds.
I adjusted the gate and since I can barely get over it, I guess she won't be able to either...I hope so anyway
