Took Kahlua to the vet yesterday for a top off on her lupron shot...She had her last 1 month depot Jan. 9..So almost 3 months ago..The vet tech was so suprised how good she looked..She should have had another Lupron shot about 2 months ago..But she said Kahlua looks so good that she didn't really need another yet..But since I had to travel so far and it wouldn't hurt Kahlua we gave her a 3 month depot they now got in.. I have been giving Kahlua 1mg of melatonin orally, daily since Jan.9th..So I guess the melatonin is sure working for her at the moment..We are still working on getting the implants..
So anyway, thought I would let you all know that Kahlua is doing great so far.. I hope I have many years left with her..We caught her disease early..So hopefully that will be a benefit in the long run..

She is beautiful. Did you ever take a before photo? It's always educational to see the before and after

LOL that is a before photo.. A month before she starting losing her hair.. he he.. Yes I have some photos of her hair loss..But I think I have to upload them to photobucket again.. I really should get a recent one of her.. Her fur is way more lush now then in that pic.. Ok I got her pics resized, framed and dated.. I am going to get my daughter to try and get a good one of her now.. She takes better pictures then me..lol And Kahlua is so hard to get crystal clear being that she is white.. I will post it later when I get one.. Here are the three I have:

Wonderful !!!! I am really happy to see all is working well with your little one. She is gorgeous I believe too that the melatonin is doing a good job and more when using with Lupron. That is my opinion. Used in synergy seems to be perhaps more effective. As always all depend of the ferret too. Big kisses and hugs to your precious Kahlua, and thank you for the update and the photos, we love to see picture

Steals my slippers...lol Oh yes she does.. She likes to take them all the way up that flight of stairs.. Not one but both slippers and then proceeds to hide them in the farthest corner under my bed..So I can't reach them to get them back out..lol

Kahlua is a real beauty, Dar! Of course, she was a real beautiy when first she claimed you, too. Your lovely little girlie looks all white now, but in the first pic Kahlua looks like she's a cinnamon. Either her coat color has changed or this is the result of the camera. At any rate, you have an adorable and very, very attractive little ferret girl in Kahlua. My Nada once stole my shoes and hid them under the head of my bookcase waterbed. hehehe Mommy had to use a broom handle to fish them out again. :-) Hugs, Greta
