He's doing GREAT~! He's staying with Hootie over at my moms so it's easier to watch how he's eating and all and he acts just fine~! They shaved a little patch of his face, his stitches are dissolvable so he doesn't have to go back, and they gave him injections so we don't have to syringe feed him the meds anymore~! HOORAY!! He hated the medicine so much and was very good at spitting it in our faces~! I'll get my camera over there and get pics soon.
Oh, and my vet cut me a great deal, and even though I declined the histology because I can't afford it, she's going to send it out herself out of sheer curiousity. She's only 27, and quite new to ferrets (the senior vet did the actual removal) but she loves Dante and she can't wait to see the others. She also donated 5 certificates for free pet exams and let me put a collection jar up for my team for the ACS Relay for Life. My vet rocks~!
