That makes a while that I didn't post updates about my two boys.
I wanted to make certain about the results of ultrasounds and other tests before to say something.
Nahum has had a second ultrasound. His prostate is now enlarged, and the 2 adrenals glands continue to grow very fast. The lupron helped well about the coat but not for reduce or stop the glands to become more big.
Nahum has a new medication : Flutamide for hep to reduce the prostate. Now he is on Lupron 500 mcg by month
Now I know there will be some sweet people here who will have a shock as I have. Bear is adrenal too, and both of the glands are involved and especially the right one. The left is more small.
For now no problem with his prostate.
But he has a pee infection. Bear does pee everywhere and all the time and a few drops at time...
In the space of few days he lost his hair all over the body, but he still has fur on his entire tail. Bear is on Lupron too, we have started at 200mcg and he is also on oral melatonin. We will increase the dosage of Lupron, Dr wanted to see how Bear reacts to it.
And also my little Bear has a heart murmur...
In another sad note, their dear sweet Veterinary left the clinic in the beginning of January for to continue her study but in the Environment side. I feel lost : this young lady was the best vet who did wonderful care for Anika and Nahum, Bear was in good health at this time... I will stay at the same clinic. It is another Lady who is taking her patients.
I think all is said. I always found my comfort to see my little healthy ball of Energy Bear : playing, bouncing, running. But now I see a little boy tired.
