I emailed him and told him that he indeed had a baby possum and that he needed to call animal control because they are known to carry lots of diseases and they can be extremely mean and bite!!!

I thought that was a funny looking ferret, but didn't realize it was a possum until I scrolled down and read the replies. So much for poor vision! I don't think this guy wants a baby possum taking over his house for 'a few weeks.' hehehe What a hoot! Hugs, Greta

As soon as I looked at the pic I knew that was a possum. They have a very distinctive face. Funny guy, I guess he will have no one responding to a lost pet.

Tooo Funny...Soon as I saw the picture I knew that ain't no ferret..lol We have possums around here all the time...Never have seen one in my own backyard though... Just checked on Google what they eat and apparently they are omnivores...They eat cockroaches, snakes, baby mice and rats, rotten fruit and of course carcases...So they sound like a good animal to have around...They keep pests under control..
This little guy is so cute...If I saw him on my deck I may have been tempted to save him too..lol
