It went real well!! They were all pretty much sleeping when he got here. So he went and sat on the couch and I called them out. Only thing is I used their soup call, so at first they weren't interested in the new hooman, they wanted their soupies....lol So I left him on his own with them and went and made some soup. While I was making it, they noticed him, and he got a good sniffing. After soup, he got checked out even more. They were all really good ferrets. Even Riot. I worry about her because she has had biting issues, especially with feet. But she came up and sniffed his feet, then looked right at me, and then walked off without biting. I was so proud of her....she has come a long way. The kitties seemed to like him as well.
As we were getting ready to leave, I noticed somebody had left a poop by the gate. (At least I saw it before he stepped in it....lol) I had told him before that the ferrets only hit the litter box about 80% of the time. His comment......"Well, at least it's only 20% on the floor instead of 20% in the box" LOL I think he has the makings of a good ferrent.
