I'm sure there is someone here who has been in the same situation, introducing a puppy to their ferret. I did it the opposite way, with my sheltie (RIP) he was such a sweetie and wouldn't hurt a fly. He used to let the ferrets take a bite of his food as a treat before he would eat. But he definitely did not like them trying to nip his feet. They sort of kept their distance from him and they all live in a sort of harmony but never unrequited love LOL I live in Florida and have had ferrets since 1984. Right now I only have two that are both rescues from an animal shelter and they are 5 years old. Thankfully they have not showed any ailments as yet, but as they are again, one never knows. We'll be ready to care for what ever comes along as we have done it all before with others. Well Scout my little male is asking for attention, so I need to go
