I boiled 4 chicken thighs and cut them up tiny and pureed them. Then I cooked brown rice in the chicken stock. I used about half a bag since I am doing more than one flavor of cat food. I cooked a lb of hamburger and pureed it as well, along with a can of sardines and a can of tuna. I cooked 2 cups of carrots and pureed them. I mixed 1/2 cup cooked carrots to each seperate meat or fish. For the chicken and hamburger I added 2 cups of pureed rice each with 3 tablespoons Extra Virgin Olive Oil each. For the sardines and tuna I added one cup of rice and 1 tablespoon of Extra Virgin Oilive Oil . I mixed it well and used my bag sealer to make individual servings or a days food and froze it. I add water to it per the vets advice to be sure Newf gets enough water to prevent his urinary blockage. Bug and Newf are loving it. THey never used to greet me in the morning when I get up but now they are in the bathroom asking for breakfast and they let me know when its 5 pm. Time for supper! BUg is doing so much better hes staying downstairs with me duringthe afternoon now.
