Bug my pretty little Persian cat has been suffering form rashes that we just couldn't figure out. The vet ruled out flea dermatitis since there are no fleas in the house. We couldn't begin to test for all the additives in cat food since the cost would have be outrageous, so we tried so many different foods but nothing changed. Bug has been on the homemade food with Newf for 2 days. He has been so miserable with the rashes that he has been sulking under a chair upstairs and wouldnt come down for nothing or no body. Last night he came down to the living room and jumped on my lap all on his own. (he usually avoids me cause I have been clipping his fur and applying polysporin for weeks to the rash and bathing him in special shampoo.) LOL.I checked him out and it seemed that the rash was not quite so bad. This morning he came flying down the stairs after me when I got up so I fed him and Newf and checked him out real good. I had to check real good because .......wait for it.........The Rash is Gone! This cat sat on my lap for an hour and let me brush him and he was purring and now is laying in his old spot at the corner of the couch looking proud , relaxed and happy! The only regret I have is that I didnt think of this earlier. Boy do I feel dumb!LOL! So now I guess I am setting aside one day every two weeks to cook cat food. Best of all it works out to 30 to 40 cents per small can! Lots better than $3.10 for Newfs food or 1.50 for the other cats canned food. Shadoe

LOL! Newf is our Oldest Male cat. Hes five years old and is prone to urinary blockage. His food went up to $3.10 for a small can so I asked the Vet if I could cook for him and he gave me his blessing. Thats where this all started. heres the big boy....
