I've finally gotten on weekdays after working weekends all last year and January. I got a tiny raise last month and I've read many posts that say in rehab your starting salary will be your salary until you change jobs, so that was a nice surprise. I've been really paranoid since this new company took over, because I've been downsized so many times, and rehab is the only field in health care that bills by the minute, and Medicare is really picky about how you document treatments. I feel safe for now, but still pressured to make unrealistic productivity expectations. Dar got a job at Office Depot. Not very exciting but it gets her out and makes a few bucks. She's been going a little stir crazy. I know how she felt. Job hunting bites. As for me, I worked a couple prn shifts back in January and hope to finally get paid for it this week, due to computer issues and lack of communications. Wednesday it was 70 deg and Thursday night it was 15. Today it's 51 and sunny. We mowed the yard last week because someone decided it needed it and the next day it snowed, lol. A raise is always nice even if it is small. I am happy Dar has found a job. It is always easier to find a new one when you already are working. I love the pictures of your neighbors. They remind me of the one that use to visit us when we lived in the woods in Michigan. Scamp seems to enjoy the box ride. Ferrets are so much fun.
