We made the over an hour trip today to see Zeus's vet. He had a complete check up including a Comprehensive Chemistry Complete Blood Count and a Deslorelin implant. Everything went well all his blood counts were within normal range. We wanted to make sure there was nothing showing now since his vet is no longer close by. I wish we had one closer that I could trust, but we don't. Our vet says he looks good and to keep up what we are doing now. He gets Melatonin in the early afternoon and ferretone every evening. Whenever his Mast Cell tumors show up he gets cortisone. So I guess it was a good visit and we got out for $357.85 for everything. We need to start brushing his teeth because they are showing some yellow.

My vet's about an hour away too, but there just isn't anybody else.

Glad to hear he's doing well. He looks like a champ.
Rosa has had a few skin tumors pop up recently and cortisone seems to work well on them. I checked her today and 3 of 4 are completely gone and one is reduced.
Dar and I are watching the NASCAR race in PHX as I type this. We're looking for you!

Sounds like a good visit.
The vet I have used since I moved to Florida 17 years ago I'd only ten minutes away.
Actually the vet there bought the practice from my original vet after he had worked with him for about four years.
The original vets daughter is now also a vet,he spent a few years in Miami in one of those big emergency clinics.
Now she is Bach home with us.
It's gotten to be a good size practice with four full time vets' all are exotic vets which makes use very lucky
