Our little white wonder came to us 3 years ago today. She's supposedly 4 years old, but she's looking older these days. No elderly, and she still has good energy, but her nose is still a bit bare. She has had a des implant in the last 6 months and otherwise her fur is almost fully restored. She's doing fine, but her biggest problem now is Scamp, who for some reason has her targeted. They can't be out together, but we work it out. She is free roam except when he is out. Here she is nomming some anniversary soupies IMG_2592 by unclejoe1158, on Flickr IMG_2596 by unclejoe1158, on Flickr

I've only had that happen once with all my ferrets. It was Dexie verses Silveretta. She was quite old and only eating baby food. perhaps she had a different scent that he didn't like. I had two other little girls at the same time, Mika and Mischief and he was fine and loving with them, but we had to keep him away from silveretta because I swear he would have eaten her

I've seen it several times where a dominant ferret goes after an older weaker one. It's sad and you have to take protective measures.
