Though Scout and Powder are best of buddies and many time we will find them cuddled together, they are so different in many ways.
They are both the same age and we adopted them only three weeks apart, so neither was the ruler, they came on even keels..
Scout is a blaze and is deaf, so I am sure this has a lot to do with it,
Powder is up bright and early in the morning, trying to climb up on the bed or following your every footsteps when we get us and start moving.
Scout on the other hand can sleep until 10:30 or 11 in the morning, deader than a doornail.
Every couple of hours Powder will wake up and find where ever we are and want to play, so down on the floor we go for about 45 min to and hour.
Not an easy task for people our age HA HA
Scout on the other hand has two favorite sleeping spots and man does he ever sleep a lot.
under the cabinet in the guest bathroom, we prop it open with a small book as he can easily get in, but has difficulty getting out and luckily he always waked up to go potty. The other spot is in under the kitchen sink. At first we worried about this, but all he does is go to the back curls up and sleeps. My husband put a little blankie there that is can always be found on. He never touches anything also. You can never hear him going in but sometimes you can here the door bang a couple of times when he is rushing to get out to go on the nearby papers, as there is no way he wants to mess his sleeping spot.
Powder wakens my a deep sleep as soon as you pick her up and she can smell you, while Scout stays asleep and you can plop him on your shoulder like a sack of potatoes and walk around with him. He awakens and loves to stay there having me pet him. Then he is up and running.
They both love their Bandit and Bones treats and they know that they get them in the kitchen, They will both follow us in into the kitchen and look up at the counter top. I keep waiting for them to bark like a dog.
These two are so different but yet the same and we adore them both
