I have always used Marshall's Bandits as treats for my ferrets. They love every flavor. It's the morning ritual, I get up and opened up the bedroom door. I get my morning OJ and the ferrets come running into the kitchen for their morning treat. Well in my last order I saw that they had freeze dried rabbit bandits, duck and turkey. So I decided to order one packet of the rabbit. Well you would have thought I bought them poison. Neither one would go near them. They wouldn't even pick them up and try them, on sniff and that was enough. We tried moistening them...nope nothing
Anyone else tried them?

Ferrets can be very picky! My first ferret, Twiggy loved cooked chicken breast. We tried to gave her a piece of raw chicken breast only once, she acted like we were giving her something awful. She ran away like it might kill her. She would not even go near it. This is the same ferret that would wake from a sound sleep in another room and come running when we had any type of cooked chicken breast.

Yeah, they are picky buggers. Rosa was with us over a year before she ate anything but Bones. Now she eats every kind of treat we offer. Tryo putting a new one in their mouths. Of course, it might take a few tries. Mogli only likes eggs and ferretone for treats. He's so much like Eddie.

Can you believe this? I wrote to Foster smith just to ask if they had gotten any other comments about it since my ferrets would go neat it......and they gave me a $10 credit for the inconvenience. Unreal, but said they had not gotten any other comments about it

Some of the ferts are ow turning their noses up at N Bones. The formula changed a while back They're now harder to chew. Why they gotta mess with stuff that works?
