Been MIA

I've been a bit MIA for the past couple of weeks.
My husband had the cervical disc in his neck worked on and I'm been busy being human caretaker.
First week was really tiring, but now that he is able to eat much better and do a few things on his own, things are looking off.
It was just luck that I had taken three weeks vacation and everything we tried to plan fell through and then the doc all of a sudden decided to do this.

I did come and check to see if anything was going on, but things were always pretty quiet here.

I'm working 3 10's Sat Sun Mon and don't get home much before 7 pm. Then It's ferret time. I also work Tues and Wed, shorter shifts. So I haven't been on as much, esp weekends. But the bills are getting paid and we finally got a riding mower paid with cash. Feels so good to have income again.
Dar's job at the dog groomer is going ok. Her drive to work takes the exact same time as mine, in the opposite direction, lol.

Your shifts certainly keep you busy, but I bet it is fullfillng and having that extra cash to do some of the things you need to do is great also. I'm so glad that everything is working out for you both.

How's hubby getting on?

I went back to work today and talked to m around six on my break. He told me what he had eaten for dinner, that he had gone for a walk and he was doing good. He went to the gym with me yesterday, just did the recumbent bicycle, but that is a good start.

The first few days really scared me, but then his progress seemed to zoom along
