Zoey once again did not come when I called her for bedtime. She was in one of those awful sleeps again. I did much better this time. I just picked her little limp body up and carried her to her room. This time all I had to do to get her to wake up is to hold a spoon of tone under her little nose. She woke up immediately and started likcing. Our little girl will be seven and a half on March 31. We just got a reminder from her vet that it is time for her Deslorelin Implant - 04/14/2016. We will be making that 2 hour trip soon.

Her birthday is on my anniversary.

It looks like we will be making the vet appointment for both of them. Zoey for her implant and Zeus has a large lump on his side. I was checking them out last night just feeling for anything strange and I found a good size lump on Zeus. It may be an enlarged spleen or something else. We will be safe and have our vet check it when we see him. Neither of them are all that young anymore. Zoey is 7 1/2 (birthday Sept 30) and Zeus is 5 3/4 (birthday June 15).

Good luck at the vet. We've ordered a des implant for Smokie/Mogli. The other wil go to someone else as a preventive.

We had a vet appointment all set for Friday. We had to cancel due to a plumbing problem. We had a flood in the kitchen. We were able to get the plumber here Friday about the same time that was set for the vet appointment. We are now going to see the vet this Tuesday. Zoey still is getting her implant. Zeus is just going to get checked out. I can't find the large lump anymore.
Has Prissy ever had a implant. She is such a fighter. Has she has ever had any type of Cancer?Sending love to Prissy.

Prissy has never had an implant. She's on pred for arthritis for a couple years. And everyone here is on oral melatoin.
We're not going to risk a huge implant at her age and condition.
