I seen a 15 week old baby ferret named Phantom was for sale on Craig list Today I email the person and he still had him I meet him Sunday at 2 pm to pick up Phantom but I might change his name... I like Cody,Blake , Evan  he don't look like a Phantom to me but the name just might fit him too I'll see when I get him home hes a Panda are Blaze and they can be deaf   |

Awwwww! What a sweet baby. Thank you for getting him before someone that would not be such a great ferret parent got him. He looks like our Zeus when he was a baby. Zeus is deaf.

Cody I think is too I did a squacky toy behind him didn't notices it I got him at 2 pm all the way home he ate and drank its a half hour drive got home he played ate my mush of kibble & soup mix played I put him to bed at 4 pm he ate more sleeping in hammy now he did fine with the lab girls don't know about with Jomo ,Tyler,Sara didn't ty with them I still have to weight him too

I was wondering how big he is. You can't really tell by the pictures. Zeus is about 3 lbs. You can see him better in this picture.

Any reason why they were selling him?
Scout is also deaf, you can squeak all day long and he will stay asleep

Dang he's gorgeous tho. Stinks that he's deaf, but oh well. Pandy, the fert in huronna's tag, could be. She gives mixed readings so I think she hears certain sounds, iow, she has selective hearing. Funny thing is she doesn't come running to treat jar shaking and she LOVES her treats.

Cody is really pretty though needs a little MEAT on those bones.

Cody may be deaf. What color eyes does he have? My vet says that pandas and blaze ferrets with red eyes are usually deaf. Zeus was a baby when we got him and he ate like crazy. Our vet said not to worry that babies do that. I love seeing pictures of him he is so cute. Zeus changes his coat at every shedding. Zeus is the one hanging out of the bed.

Zeus has burgundy eyes and he is definitely deaf. He is one smart ferret because he can't hear when I call so I use the flashlight to call him. You have to find him first but if he is out of reach you just need to point the light at him and he comes. When he see me running around the house with the flashlight he will come and look at me like he is saying "What do you want?".

I would never have thought as a flashlight as a way to call ferrets either. Zeus taught me that. I was looking for him under the bed and in dark corners and when he would see the light he would come to it. Which was his way of saying "If you want me just show me the light." He is a very smart ferret. I guess they all are if we try to learn their language. When I need him now I just get out the flashlight and point it in places that he may be sleeping. If it he sees the light out he comes.

when i Got Cody on Feb 7 ,the lady said she thinks he lost weight in her sisters care when she got back from Utah I got him home he was 1.4 turned 4 months on Feb 11 today 2-17 i weighted him again 1.14 he gained 10 oz in 10 days all i do is soften kibble mix add a soup cube feed him 3 times a day the soften kibble/soup and he eats hard too ,never got marshals food with him my mix is NVI duck/turky and Canidae pure elements both grain free and going to add wysong ferret epigen 90 digestive care got samples coming before i buy a 5 pound bag from wysong Cody playing in tub...    |
