As they are going to my vet's "pet motel" for a couple of weeks. Husband and I are going on a tour to Chile, Argentina and Brazil, and Scout and Powder will be well taken care of by my vet's animal caretakers. I have a sense of calm leaving them there because the girls always talk to them and play with them and if anyone got ill, my vet is right there.
Since my ferrets are not litter box trained, but paper trained, we rent a double big cat condo. It opens between them so we make one side their habitat and the other is the potty area so never the two meet LOL. We bring tons of newspapers with them and I think as soon as the girls see one has pottied, they change the papers.
They have stayed there before, but it has been a while. The last time there were three, and this time only two.
I will have my Ipad with me and all the hotels do have wifi, so I will check in every so often, but wont be fully home until around the 4th of Nov.
Stay safe and I'll miss everyone.

It sounds like you have a wonderful trip planned! I am sure you will have a great time. Do you or your husband speak Spanish? You are so lucky to have such a great place to leave the babies. We use to be able to leave them at the shelter I volunteered at. It was great because they would put them in the ferret run that was monitored with a web camera each night at the same time so we could watch them play. The shelter closed and the owners moved to another state. We will look forward to seeing all the pictures of the trip. Enjoy yourself and your well deserved trip.
