Blessing of the pets

Every year at this time we have a blessing of the pets at church. Zoey and Zeus have been going for the past two years and are quite a hit. The church is in a retirement community so a lot of these people are not to sure what to think of ferrets. The lady that sat next to us told us right away that she doesn't like ferrets and that she is afraid of them. I am thinking ok fine. Then why did you choose to sit by us. Zoey and Zeus were on their best behavior and were enjoying all the attention. We answered lots of questions from almost everyone that walked by. By the time everything was over she ask to pet them and decided that they weren't all that bad.

I was very proud of my babies. They could not have been better ferret ambassadors. They let people pet them and did not try to nip anyone. Zoey even gave hand kisses to some of them. I did let people know that they are not for everyone. I told them they are high maintenance pets.
