Zoey, who will be 7 on September 30th and Zeus, who was 5 June 15th went to see the vet for their annual well baby visit. He said that they both look good. He could find nothing wrong with Zoey. Zeus did show a little hair loss on his feet so he got a Des implant. We could have waited and kept an eye on it. We chose to do it now because it is a 1 1/2 hour trip each way. I wish we had a good ferret vet on this side of Phoenix.

It really is difficult finding a good ferret vet.
I am so lucky for the past 15 years, my first vet sold the practice to another exotic vet, his wife was also an exotic vet and nor the daughter of the first vet is their also after spending a few years in a big clinic in Miami

The 40 mile one way trip is something we do not look forward to. Dr Wayne S. has been our vet since 2001 and he is the best ferret vet around. He takes care of the medical problems for the ferret rescues and gives seminars on ferret care. He knows my ferrets and always gives them the best possible care. He lets me know all the options before he does anything. He is also the K9 vet for most of the police departments in and around Phoenix. He is now in practice with his son and that is why he moved his practice so far away. He did not know that his son would be opening a clinic here when he sold his.

She really hasn't changed.
Mine seem to change all the time, but I guess Powder being an albino will stay the same LOL

Zoey doesn't change very much at all. Zeus on the other hand changes all the time. These are all Zeus.

You have got to be kidding! That is the same ferret?
I know my Mac changed quite a bit but he was never that dark to begin with.
I guess just like humans they get grey or white LOL

With Zeus new pictures are necessary. We would never be able to let people know what our ferret look like if he ever went missing. I am so glad we no longer have to depend on getting film developed. By the time we got the pictures back he would look like a completely different ferret! He is the only one we have ever had that changes that much.

Give Zoey a kiss from Dar and me. I love all the white on her face along with the black mask. Yoshi changed his mask a lot in his first year, but he seems to have settled on his current look.
