Surf wasn't great, 1-2 ft, no swells, but 83F. I managed to catch a couple wimpy waves Prissy has been a beachcomber since her Canada days, so we brought her along for a last walk on New Smyrna The old gal was acting her age, but we did wake her up from a nap. I just hope she makes the trip and gets settled until we get established with a new vet. As we were leaving, I got hit with another wave of emotion. This was the first Florida beach I ever walked on, right after graduating high school. I moved here when my oldest son was a year old, and my youngest was 3 years in the future. They grew up on this beach. I have no idea where or when I'll have sand between my toes again

You are moving down a different roads with new challenges and a new life. Though you may have cement under those feet, you will always have sand in your heart LOL And if you miss the sand that much, just go to the store, buy some non-clumping kitty litter and put your feet in it. I wish you the best of everything and I'm so glad that I had the chance to meet you both (and all those fuzzbutts) last year.
Onward!!! and UPWARD!!

I may set the fuzzies up with a sand box in their kiddie pool and play with them in there. We'll be in the country for at least 6 months, with a big yard, so not so much concrete at home, anyway. Wagons, HO!

Your pictures are gorgeous! Love the picture of Prissy smelling the sea air she's so beautiful!
