I'll be leaving Thursday for my Trip to AZ/Phoenix actually Maricopa to visit my friend Suzie. I remember the ferret get togethers we used to have when Suzie live in her mobile home closer to everyone. It used to be Dee and her husband, Juli and her husband when they lived there, Ramboferret(Kyle)and his wife and son, Lily and us. What fun we did have back then. I will get to see Lily , I think on Sat. I'll only be there until Tuesday and then off to San Francisco to see my friend BIll who has been battling cancer which has reoccurred. I'll be back in Florida the end of the month. I will have my laptop and Ipad, so I will still be around You all take care now  |

it was 114 yesterday. no humidity but that was still HOT!!!

You picked a good time to leave. We will not be seeing temperatures under 100 until probably late September.

D'OH!
My sister in Phoenix was complaining on facebook about how hot it is. She and my other sibs don't like Florida because of the humidity. So I told her on fb, "What are you whining about. It's a dry heat." I've been here 25 years and it's never hit 100. A high heat index is 105.
2 days and counting til we head to The Great White North. Gonna spend the weekend packing for us and the ferrets.

When it gets 110 + it is hot. I am so glad that we don't have to put up with the humidity as well. My daughter, son-in-law and grandson just got back from Florida. The grandson said he was taking 2-3 showers every day. He is use to the heat but he had a big problem with the humidity. It will be 111-115 for the next 4 days and then cool down to 109. We go to the dog park now a 5am and are home by 8am. It's in the upper 80's mid 90's by then.

It's currently 59F here in south Ontario. The storm system that gave us rain all day yesterday and this morning is moving out. Expected hi of 62.. Dar is po'd. she didn't bring winter clothes, lol. Back up to 72 tomorrow. We plan to go to St Thomas for some shopping.
