This afternoon at soup time Zeus was in a very deep sleep. I picked him out wiggled him around for several minutes and he would not respond at all. Finally I just put his nose over his bowl of soup. He did not lift his head or open his eyes. I did see a little pink tongue come out and lick the soup. He ate almost half of his soup before he opened his eyes! Zeus is such a silly boy.

He use to do it often, but he hasn't done the death sleep for over a year. He did scare the "patootie" out of me!
