I have been feeding my ferrets Totally Ferret for over 25years, ababy, active and then the turkey venison. It seems that all the on-line companies are out of stock, I guess the manufacturer is having problems.
I need to buy locally and have no idea what is the best. TF is great because it is high in protein, all my ferrets have always loved it and it give you less poo and not smelly.
I need some suggestions, because my order was backordered and can't seem to find any
HELP!!

I had heard something about totally ferret, but can't remember where. I got this on their website performancefoodsinc.net/zencart/We've been feeding Zupreem ferret diet all along. We introduced Drs Foster and Smith a couple years ago and they all liked it right away. You could only get it online at their website drsfostersmith.com . They've recently been acquired by Petco and the prices went up 10%. It may be available at petco stores now, idk. Evo feline and ferret are considered to be identical. High end marshall's isn't as bad as a lot of people say, and ferrets will eat it. I see no problem if it's temporary. We just try to avoid corn and peas. Where do you get ferret food? If I knew what store I might be able to recommend foods theysell. Or, you could check this food chart. You should add a thread for it, as it's considered the ferret food bible. moredooks.herobo.com/search.php?chart=ferret

I don't think petco has evo but they should have 8in1 ultimate crunchy. I think it was DFS that said they werent going to carry Totally Ferret anymore, a couple months ago. website says due in on 5/27, so idk.

Please don't buy EVO, it's had so many recalls on all their food. Try Nature's variety instinct chicken, raw boost. It has freeze dried raw bits. Mine think they're treats. Just be careful, if they eat too many at first, they'll get loose stools, but it goes away.

We'll have to look into another kibble. I'm going to look into NV Instinct. Problem is with 7 fuzzies... but at least my pay will be a lot better soon.

sounds like might be a shortage why things are on back order ,Have use canidae pure elements grain free cat in my mix for 3 years with Orijen cat/kitten and Nature's Variety Instinct duck/turkey (like better then the NVI rabbit) , then i tried the kids with Merrick before grain kids like it but my last auto ship order i had to do a change so back to canidae pure elements glad it wont upset tummy sent i used before i even tried the NVI chicken meal kids were not thrilled about it , so good to cross between Merrick and Canidae , I was in flagstaff Az at Olsen grain was asking about EVO cat/kitten they told me they don't Carrie any Nutrna pet foods any more and all being fazed out. my mix feeds 7 ferrets and 1 cat (who thinks he's a ferret)
