I was going to post here about how Rosa has been so much better about NOT biting. She hadn't even nipped me in a couple weeks and responds to NO BITE! but today, after she had given me some serious nose kisses, I held her for a couple seconds too long and...  2 steps forward and one back Had her outside for a photo shoot Saturday. She's really not thrilled with the outdoors, but she hasn't really been out since she got here.    |

In the third photo, upper left top, is that a real "animal" or a ceramic. Looks like an alligator tail

My mom from Canada.. thinks for some reason we need to have gators in our lawn.. so she sent us that one.. Its made of resin and it holds a ball in its mouth that glows in the dark.. For some reason she thinks its funny if people walk by and think there is a gator in the flower bed..lol I try to keep up with weeding that flower bed... but with all the rain we get,, the weeds just keep re rooting themselves instead of dying..  One time that flower bed was under 4 - 5 inches of water a couple months back..

I think I would have scoop up that ferret and ran away with Rosie, just to protect her from the gator. Ha ha

We have done a lot of things in the name of ferrets including buying this place because we figured they would be happy and safe here.. But we have not stooped to buying dishes to match (YET)..lol But that Rosa she sure is a pretty one isn't she? Love her pink eyes..

We kinda missed Rosa's anniversary Feb 22. She continues to thrive and seems to be good buddies with Abita and Lola. Lola is like the pesky little sister to everyone. She loves to play and Rosa is usually happy to oblige. She's doing really well with not biting, and will come to me when I call her. If she starts to nip I just have to say NO and she recovers her composure and backs off. N Bones are the only treat she will eat. She still gives kisses regularly. She hasn't had any serious disagreements with any of the others in months. Her winter coat is absolutely beautiful. I don't know if those pics do it justice. In this one she's sleeping with Abita.  |
