When I posted the pick of Alice and Yoshi I saw how thin Alice's album is, and I've had her as long as any ferret ever. So I propped her up on a little table and had her pose. Every other ferret in the house will push their face into the camera when it's close but she always looks away.
I had to doctor these a bit, but they were the best of 20 shots.
  From these pics when she was little (heck, she's still little at 1 lb. 6 oz.) you can see how dark she was and how grey she is now. She started greying when she was just turning 3. Alice's very first N Bone 2009

it is odd how they change colors. Mac was quite full of color when we got him and now he is totally white except for maybe a couple of guard hairs. But maybe he is getting gray following the lead of his mommy HA HA

All of my silvers/pandas that made it past 3 years have gone white. I guess that's to be expected for them. Check out Prissy in 2007  And now  |

OMG, I just realized the big guy in the top pic is Jaffa. And the white girl is Abita, lol. I had put that pic in the wrong album. Yoshi's nose is pure pink. Here's one with Rosa and Pandy  |
