 We had to put Cinnamon to sleep this Afternoon. We got her in 2005. Cinnamon you was just a tiny little skinny thing with these dark bright eyes. But did we not known when you picked us out that you was deaf. Ron wanted me to take you back to the pet shop and I said no. Cause I didn't want you to end up in a bad home or worse. So we kept you. You never did get any bigger. you gave us lots of laughs, and game me lots of bits. You had a thing with the back of my legs. When I was sleeping you would clime in bed lick Daddies eye ball than you would clime under the sheets to bite my legs. Once in a while you drew blood. But I didn't get mad cause I knew you wouldn't understand. I loved you anyway. Has you got older you started getting low blood sugers. I kept you going has long has I can. Till today May 19, 2014 you was in so much pain I didn't want you to be in that pain any longer. So Daddy and I took you in it was hard for us to do to say good-by. I know you are in heaven with rest of your brother's and sisters. Ruby, George, D.J. Rocky, Sara,Betty, Hudinni,Kit, and your freinds, Star Puppy, Smokeing and Shadow, the cats. You really gave them the run around. You would run after them and they would try to hind from you. Star Puppy didn't mind she would let you clime all over her. Cinnamon you are at peace now and in no more pain. We will miss you so much. You are at the rainbow bridge you will be makeing new freinds along with your family. This isn't good-by this is seen you later till Jesus calls me home. RIP Cinnamon Davis. Love you forever. |

I'm so sorry. I know that even 9 wonderful years isn't enough, but she had them because of you all. I hope she finds Poppy up there.

So many years, so many ferrets, and so many tears.
We all cry with you as it is so hard for us to do what you have had to do.
Always there is a time when w must ease the pain but the pain still remains with us.
Sheila , im of at the airport ready to fly to NYC and the Istanbul on a vacation, but when I return I will add cinnamon to the memorial pages.

Thank you all so much Dookscity Thank you so much for your poam it was hard to read throw the tears. It was hard to get up this mornning not seeing her in bed with Duke. They was always togather. Thank you all again love you guys.

I want to thank you all for your thoughts and prayers. I havn't felt like coming on here. I have been keeping a close eye on Duke making sure he is cool enough and has enough food and water. Ron took him outside yesterday and I jumped his tail for bring him out. We have wild cats and once in a while a hawk. So outside is a no no. I am like a mother hen with him. My granddaughter came in and said she was taking him home. I said you take him I will beat you down! He is my last one. Have a wonder July 4th. God bless

I understand being protective of Duke. But we have 3 kinds of hawks, an occasional bald eagle, bobcats and snakes. When we go out beyond our yard, they are leashed and never allowed more than lead length away. Our biggest problem now is fleas. Also, when they go out on a lead, we carefully check the harness for proper fit. We have 9 ferrets and 5 harnesses, so we check every time. They have all been out enough that they don't run off in a panic, but we never know when some stray dog or cat may spook them.
How's Duke doing, anyway?
