Well, we had to re-home Rafiki kitty. He's a great kat, very loving and playful, but he just would not learn to leave the ferrets alone. I can't say he deliberately tried to hurt them, but every time Yoshi or Smokie played with him, he'd end up scruffing them, sometimes so tight that all they could do is let out a gurgle, and drag them around. We felt it was only a matter of time until one of them got seriously hurt. So I put him on craigslist and today a mom came by with her two boys and took him. They only live a couple miles from here and she offered to update me on him as often as I wanted. Kat enjoyed the attention he got from the boys while they were here.
After the yorkie failure a couple years ago, I made Dar promise there would be no more pets besides ferrets, and she said no problem. She wanted an affectionate cat that would cuddle while the ferts were sleeping, but we just couldn't trust him. It wasn't fair to him to have to lock him in the bathroom for hours while the ferrets were out. Both the yorkie and the kat were raised from a very young age around our ferrets, and the both had the same problem. Maybe it was jealousy, but it's not gonna happen again. The dog had other issues, but the rough play with the ferts was all it took. They both went to good homes.

Glad you were able to find homes for them. Some time the temperament just isn't right and you never want to risk an unhappy outcome.
