Our little dude, Smokie, is one of those ferrets that sorta hangs around in the background, no drama, but playful. He hasn't been out muc, but the last week I've been taking him along on errands. He's the only ferret that doesn't just wander around ethe car for 5 minutes and go to sleep. He sits on my lap looking out the window, and he's happy to sit on my shoulder to check out the action. Dar grabbed some pics today.   Yoshi has done a little ride-along, but only hopped up when he was ready for nappies.  |

I put on the harness and he headed for the door to wait for us. When we got delayed, he followed Dar around until we were ready to go. He's really good on a leash, as well, so he'll be getting a lot more out time.

What wonderful shots!
I've never been able to let mine loose in the car, we had stick sift for many years and that was just too much movement and would be too dangerous.
One the other hand I did have siamese cat who loved to ride in the car. I had an old 55 chevi with those big bend seats and he would sit there behind my head and ride forever.
That first shot is perfection!!
