I seen in another thread that you were talking about the 1month, 3 month or 4 month depot..
Can you clarify that a bit for me.. My vet says their one month is 100 mg and the 3 month is 300mg.. Is that misleading?? You mentioned it is not the dosage so much as how it is prepared..
Thanx for any help given,,

That is the problem with this drug. It is very confusing. You vet is misled as far as I can see. This is the best article that explains about the 1 month and 4 month depot www.custompetrx.com/articles/lupron.htm and not all pharmacies make the delayed release type. That is why I always order mine from the medical arts pharmacy Read carefully are area under ©Lupron, it explains that it does not matter if the shot is 100 or 300 mg, if it is a 1 month depot, that's how long it will last. If it is a 4 month deport , it is time released and will continure to be release for 4 months. The first time I used Lupron was Jan 2000. I had been in contact with Dr Weiss via e-mail. I told him my situation about living in Puerto Rico and sent him photos of both Rocki and Silveretta. I had read his article somewhere and wanted to make sure that he felt my kids were right for this treatment. The 4 month depot 2000mcg is what I have always used and one shot had usually decreased those adrenal symptoms for 6-10 months actually. Again, this is not a cure for adrenal disease, it is a way to manage it without surgery as many times the side effects are the case of death not the actual adrenal tumor
